The DANUBEcare project was prominently featured at the 2nd TwiNSol-CECs Workshop and Summer School, held at the Faculty of Technology Novi Sad from June 6-12, 2024. Organized by the TwiNSol-CECs team from the Faculty of Technology Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad, the events focused on innovative water treatment technologies. These gatherings successfully brought together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to address challenges posed by micropollutants, particularly emerging contaminants in water sources. DANUBEcare team members Dr. Vesna Vasić and Dr. Dragana Lukić actively participated, presenting the project’s goals, which include using crayfish shells as an adsorbent for removing heavy metal ions from wastewater, to an enthusiastic audience. The DANUBEcare team is proud to be part of such an innovative and impactful endeavor and looks forward to continued collaboration and progress in the field of water treatment and environmental protection.
