DANUBEcare Research Presented at the PTEP 2026 Conference

The latest results of the DANUBEcare project were presented at the PTEP 2026 Conference by Milica Vidosavljević, a member of the project team and a PhD researcher.

The presentation focused on evaluating the effects of different marinades on the sensory quality of spiny-cheek crayfish (Faxonius limosus) meat. This research represents an important step toward the sustainable utilization of this invasive species by improving its culinary quality and increasing its potential for use in food products. The findings demonstrated promising results, providing valuable insights into consumer acceptability and establishing a solid foundation for further research and the development of innovative, value-added products based on invasive crayfish.
